Communicating About Science: A Hands-on Workshop with Christine Paige

Think about how many community debates are centered on science. Elk management, roadkill, bear conflicts, habitat preservation; the list goes on. Communicating the latest research on these topics in a clear, compelling way is challenging but essential.
If you are interested in improving your science communication skills, please join us in February for a two-night workshop with NRCC Research Associate Christine Paige. We will focus on science as story, and have fun with some hands-on exercises. Chris is a wildlife biologist with more than 25 years’ experience translating research into practical guides for managers and articles for the public.
