Carl Brown

Carl Brown is a Master’s student conducting research on Black Rosy-Finches within the University of Wyoming’s Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit, Chalfoun Lab, Department of Zoology and Physiology. Black Rosy-Finches are one of North America’s highest elevation breeders for which breeding habitat is especially vulnerable to climate change. Carl’s previous research and conservation work has included ungulate diseases, wildlife genetics, and work on Trumpeter Swans, Common Loons, and small mammals. Carl is the Executive Director of the Wyoming Wetland Society.
