Matt Barnes is an applied rangeland scientist, wildlife conservationist, and consultant. His work focuses on leading-edge rangeland stewardship, with an emphasis on resolving the long-standing debate over rotational grazing. Matt holds an MS in Range Science from Utah State University and a BS in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Arizona. Matt’s company, Shining Horizons Land Management, works with landowners and managers to improve rangeland stewardship and coexistence with large carnivores. Matt is based in southwest Colorado.
