R.J. Turner
Photographer-in-Residence
R.J. Turner is an award-winning photographer, who seeks to connect people back with the natural world, to inspire environmental awareness, and in so doing, cultivate positive change for ourselves, the world, and all of its inhabitants, large and small. Working in the conservation photography field for over a decade, she has partnered with Save the Elephants in Kenya, The Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Wildlife Conservation Trust in Uganda, the African Wildlife Foundation in Southern Africa, Craighead Beringia South in Wyoming, and has been the Photographer in Residence for the Northern Rockies Conservation Cooperative in Jackson, Wyoming for 5 years. R.J. and her husband, Sam are currently the co-managers of Mara Plains Camp, in the Masai Mara, Kenya.
