Ross Hinderer

Project Partner

Ross Hinderer grew up in rural Ohio and moved west to pursue work as a biological technician on various projects across the Western U.S. and abroad. He’s studied reptiles, amphibians, birds, plants and mammals in places from Oregon, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Antarctica, and Montana. Ross’s interests are the intersection of imperiled species’ needs and anthropogenic influences, and the ways that changes affect individual organisms and populations. Ross obtained a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences in 2015 from Montana State University and is currently working towards a PhD in Fish and Wildlife Biology at the University of Montana.
